• Upon successful graduation you will have acquired an outstanding Qualification Profile. In addition in
depth knowledge in Materials Science, you will have obtained:
- Research skills and ability for independent analysis and synthesis,
- Strong aptitude to work in an interdisciplinary, multicultural team,
- Advanced ability to apply knowledge in practice,
- Enhanced fluency in English, working knowledge in two more European languages.
• Throughout the course students are assessed in agreement with local Partner procedures, i.e. written exams,
essays, oral presentations, etc. The European credit transfer system is issued. Thesis work is supervised by a joint
examination committee involving two partner universities. Upon successful completion of the studies students are
awarded a Joint Degree and diploma supplement.
• It varies from institution to institution. Generally, students are encouraged to propose industrial placements
and lecturers can promote some contacts.
Internship is assessed by the academic and industrial advisors.

• Yes. As long as they are fully authenticated by your home institution.
• A buddy system is in place coordinated by the international offices of each institution.
• It depends on the partner institution you will be starting. A detailed information package is sent to the student
before arrival.
• Administrative and academic staff as well as buddies speak English and will be there to guide you. Moreover, you will have a Language
course on Portuguese, German or Danish.
• This course is a joint Master course. Hence, you will get one joint diploma.
• As soon as EACEA send us the results.
